I am Dalziel; a music artist based in Central Finland. My work blends electronic and dance music forms with traditional song writing to create dual-layered music that is both danceable and thoughtful. With a foot firmly and proudly standing in minority subcultures such as furry and gay fetish, I do not shy away from the controversial, and am not afraid to criticise and lampoon.

My songs explore themes central to people with online lives including identity, sexuality, and connectedness. By using the frameworks of dance music, my work is approachable and relatable, making artful, inclusive music.

My works for video games highlight the breadth of my composition and arrangement skills, covering a wide gamut of genres and styles. I combine traditional composing techniques with modern arrangement styles to create impactful instrumental pieces that leave a lasting impression.

I push the expectations of dance music to make it something insightful and introspective and reflective, while maintaining uplifting energy. My live performances innovatively combine electronic instruments and controllers with traditional musicianship. These shows are a hybrid of a DJ set (though with entirely original music) and a band with live instrumentalists and vocal collaborators.
